NOVA Summer League ends Wend. July 15th
The top four teams from the Summer League will play at 7:00 PM and 8:15 PM as the semifinalist. The two winning teams will play for the championship at 9:30 PM. The games will be played at the Annandale Campus gym.
The Woodbridge Campus team (team 5) will play the NOVA Alumni team at 7:00 PM. The NOVA returning players will play (team 3)with the incoming players with Holt, Lyles, Ford etc at 8:15 pm
The Championship game will be at 9:15 pm

NOVA Men are Finalist at the VCCS Tournament
After locking down the regular season championship in the Virginia Community College System Conference, the NOVA men were a VCCS Finalst at the Virgina State tournament in Hampton for the first time in modern memory.

NOVA is #1 seed in the East and will play the first game at 7:30 pm on Friday March 6 at Bethel High School in Hampton, VA. The address for Bethel High School is as follows:

NOVA men win conference championship
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (February 22, 2009)– Northern Virginia Community College clinched the regular season VCCS Eastern Region Championship with a 83-73 victory over Southside Virginia Community College Sunday afternoon at T.C. Williams High School. NOVA enjoyed a slim 39-36 halftime advantage before pulling away from the Force and securing the conference crown with a 10-1 record in league play.
NOVA will return to action on Friday, March 6, at the VCCS State Championship Tournament held at The Apprentice School in Newport News.

NOVA men ease the Tidewater Storm 87-73
ANNANDALE, VA (February 15, 2009)– Northern Virginia Community College knocked off league rival Tidewater Community College 87-73 Sunday afternoon the Ernst Cultural Community Center gymnasium to successfully conclude 2009 homecoming festivities. NOVA jumped out to an impressive 43-18 halftime advantage and held strong for the victory.
Malik N’Garmin and Sam Eligwe each paced NOVA with 16 points. Mark Phillips scored 14 points and Joe Shewmaker netted 12 points as NOVA’s other double-figure performer. HALFTIME: NOVA 45; TCC 28
Byron Carpenter led all scorers with 25 points for TCC. Miran Smith netted 15 points for TCC and Patrick Dillon scored 10 points.
