ACIS Basketball is the series of campus, regional and national championship tournaments created to provide college student athletes with the opportunity to compete in high quality, nationally promoted intramural and extramural events. This year, 2.5 million students from 200 ACIS campuses across the country will enjoy free giveaways and contests from ACIS Basketball sponsors including Pontiac, Philips Norelco, Xbox 360, Timex IRONMAN, Playtex Sport, Jelly Belly Sport Beans and Tinactin.
The NOVA Men’s Basketball team travelled to NC State to play in the ACIS National Basketball Tournament winning four out of five games played for the best showing for NOVA in many years. The NOVA team was undefeated in pool play. In fact, the NOVA team made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the championship round beating University of South Carolina in round of 32 and beat the past champion Morehouse in the sweet sixteen
